7) The Centre has appointed IPS Officer Kuldiep Singh to hold additional charge as the Director General (DG) of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

👉Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced a new CAPF battalion that will be named after Narayani Sena, the warriors of the erstwhile princely state of Cooch Behar.

👉 Home Minister Amit Shah launched the 'Ayushman CAPF ' scheme for Central Armed Police Forces personnel and their families. The scheme was launched at the CRPF group centre in Guwahati.


8) Indian Railways has ensured 100 per cent compliance of payment of minimum wages to contract workers through e-application Shramik Kalyan Portal.

12) The Union government appointed Dr GP Samanta as the new Chief Statistician of India (CSI). 

👉Samanta would be replacing Dr Kshatrapati Shivaji, the 1986-batch IAS officer who was holding the additional charge of CSI since September 2020 after the post fall vacant.


13) The Development of India's first integrated machine tool park spread over 530 acres in Karnataka. 

👉The park, spread over 530 acres at Vasanthnarasapura, about 90 kms from Bengaluru, is developed under the scheme of Enhancement of Competitiveness in Indian Capital Goods Sector (ECICGS), jointly by the state government and the Department of Heavy Industries, Government of India.

16) Prime Minister, Narendra Modi flagged off the 'Padyatra' (Freedom March) from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad and inaugurated the curtain raiser activities of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'  as well as flagged off padyatra in Gujarat to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence.
